Patti Smith

Patti is a senior communication consultant who helps her clients use research-based strategies to enhance the value of their HR and organizational programs. She has over 20 years of professional communication experience, 16 of those in consulting.

Her work includes strategy development and program implementation for all facets of employee communication: attraction and retention, health care consumerism and retirement education, compensation and performance management, and corporate and organizational communication.

A recognized thought leader in health care communication, Patti's approach is grounded in health care behavior theory. She identifies trends, assists clients in developing and implementing health care strategies, and works with providers and the outside press to help them understand the employer's perspective on health care.

Patti's clients have included: Aerospace Corporation, Amgen, Beckman Coulter, Experian, Gateway, Lucent Technologies, Nestlé USA, Stanford University and Universal Studios. Her work has won numerous awards, including two Gold Quills from the International Association of Business Communicators.

Before joining The Adobe Group, Patti successfully managed the Los Angeles communication practices of two global HR firms. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Speech Communication from California State University, Northridge.
